A perfect day for Banana Fish is a fan zine to celebrate 2018's "Banana Fish" anime based on the manga by Yoshida Akimi. The manga, released in 1985 revolutionized what a shojo manga could be with it's depiction of violence, gangs, and drugs. The manga was almost an underground secret until a few months ago.
Thankfully, the anime has shared this secret with the world. Now that it's come to an end, we artists of the Banana Fish Zine have come together to celebrate!
This zine features illustrations from over thirty artists. It features Ash and Eiji but also includes others.
What this set includes:
• PDF copy of the zine (your physical zine will include a printed link to the online version)
• Physical MISPRINTED copy of the zine. The misprint is minor and should not affect your experience with the zine.
• One random merchandise which is also slightly misprinted. The misprints range from minor to noticeable.
