A perfect day for Banana Fish is a fan zine to celebrate 2018's "Banana Fish" anime based on the manga by Yoshida Akimi. The manga, released in 1985 revolutionized what a shojo manga could be with it's depiction of violence, gangs, and drugs. The manga was almost an underground secret until a few months ago.

Thankfully, the anime has shared this secret with the world. Now that it's come to an end, we artists of the Banana Fish Zine have come together to celebrate!

This zine features illustrations from over thirty artists. It features Ash and Eiji but also includes others.
